Admin Alert
Hello,
We see a new project come in the S2 category (EcoSort). Are new peojects still being allowed to enter the hackathon although the initial submission date of the draft submission on the 26th is already past? Thank you for your attention as we do appreciate a fair process. It is disturbing because their narrative is also same as ours now.
Kind Regards.

Hi Hanna,
It's great that you're taking initiative and thinking about how to make your project stand out!
You're right, there are a lot of submissions, and it's going to be a competitive process. Admins and Managers are reviewing submissions regularly and mentors are guiding students to revisions and strengthening submissions till the extended deadline.
With that said:
-Revisions are encouraged: Don't hesitate to revise your project with your mentor's guidance. Aim for quality and originality!
-Uniqueness matters: The judges will be looking for projects that are unique and well-presented. Think about what makes your project special and how you can highlight that.
-Live presentation is key: Practice your presentation skills! You'll need to deliver a compelling presentation to the judges during the semi-finals.
-Judging criteria: Familiarize yourself with the rubric. This will help you understand what the judges are looking for and ensure your project meets those expectations.
It's also important to remember that duplicated, irrelevant, or single-member projects will be removed. So, make sure your project is original, relevant to the competition's theme, and that you have a team to support you.
Good luck with your project, Hanna!

Thank you Ravi for the feedback. Our concern stems from other teams trying to copy others solution. It is not about making our project stand out (correction). This is a valid concern we have noted on 2 accounts and therefore the Admin Alert. I hope the concern is well taken although we appreciate your feedback guiding us to focus us on our work but it is indeed a demotivator to not see transparency and lacks of check in the process. I hope this clarifies the concern as your response did not acknowledge that. I also believe there are rules and code of conduct and reporting process for a reason.
Question is - When people put in their hard work the game has to be fair. How do you ensure transparency and no copy of work once the drafts are submitted on the 26th and all project ideas are accessible to all teams in the gallery? I have seen things change after that. Hope you would take this in the right spirit.
Regards.
